People and Ancestry Questions and comments about people, their ancestors, descendants, and other family.
You must not post any copyrighted material that is not owned by yourself.
We don’t want people posting monumental/gravestone inscriptions, because this would usurp our copyright, we would sell fewer MI volumes, and our teams would stop their recording and transcription efforts.
In your use of these forums, you must not post any information which is vulgar, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others' privacy, sexually oriented, or violates any laws.
Failure to abide by the rules and policies stated in this agreement, may result in your forum membership being suspended.
Please don't post the same topic or reply to a topic in more than one forum. Most people read all the forums and it's annoying to waste time reading the reply or topic again. We'll remove duplicated topics and replies.
We suggest that you don't put your email address in its normal form in any topic or reply, because it is likely that it will be collected by any of the Spam 'email address collecting' robots that wander the Web. Instead, if you have enabled email in your profile, members can click on a topic's author, or last person to post, and send them an email.
Where space permits, and we have the resources to do so, we will try to feature some unanswered questions in our magazine. |

Monumental Inscriptions Monumental inscriptions, gravestone inscriptions, tombstone inscriptions, headstone inscriptions, are the inscriptions placed on stones or slabs to indicate the person(s) buried in a particular plot or lair.
We'll use this forum to tell you about new burial places which have been researched as soon as they are published.
We also want to hear from you about Borders burial places you would like to be researched, you could persuade us to do one in which you're interested sooner, however, please note that resources are limited.
