Old Posts Flodden 1513
2013 was the 500th anniversary of the battle of Flodden.

The commemoration was marked by a series of events and eco-museums in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.

If you have any ancestral connections with the armies or perhaps, your house or village was on the route taken by the armies, or there is a memorial or commemoration ceremony that you know of, please add your story to this forum.

Old Posts People and Ancestry
Questions and comments about people, their ancestors, descendants, and other family.

You must not post any copyrighted material that is not owned by yourself.

We don't want people posting monumental/gravestone inscriptions, because this would usurp our copyright, we would sell fewer MI volumes, and our teams would stop their recording and transcription efforts.

In your use of these forums, you must not post any information which is vulgar, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others' privacy, sexually oriented, or violates any laws.

Failure to abide by the rules and policies stated in this agreement, may result in your forum membership being suspended and/or your topic or reply deleted.

Please don't post the same topic or reply to a topic in more than one forum. Most people read all the forums and it's annoying to waste time reading the reply or topic again. We'll remove duplicated topics and replies. Please keep replies pertinent to the topic.

We suggest that you don't put your email address in its normal form in any topic or reply, because it is likely that it will be collected by any of the Spam 'email address collecting' robots that wander the Web.
Instead, if you have enabled email in your profile, members can click on a topic's author, or last person to post, and send them an email.

Where space permits, and we have the resources to do so, we will try to feature some unanswered questions in our magazine.
