j59Phred	Posted - 31 March 2012 : 03:55:50 Agnes Ireland b. 1857 is my great-great-grandmother. She married Alexander Young. I have been able to trace family to George and Isabella Scott. I am trying to prove a couple stories/court cases to the same John Ireland b. 1655. His father was James Ireland b. 1630. Agnes Ireland b. 1875 --> David Ireland b. 1823 --> George Ireland B. 1772 --> William Ireland b. 1732 --> James Ireland b. 1707 -->William Ireland b. 1678 --> John Ireland b. 1655 all within the county of Peebleshire. James Ireland was b. 1630 in Warton, Lancashire England. Any information appreciated. CW

Keith-i	Posted - 14 December 2012 : 17:10:10 Hi CW It looks like we have the same ancestors, but I've never heard of any court cases or stories regarding John Ireland/Irland 1655. I'm intrigued. Also, do you have a reference for James Ireland's birth in Warton?
