Hi Guys,
I am new to the forum and could do with a wee bit of help re Peebles.
My Granda had a "Small Holding" at No. 2 Small Holding, Peebles from around 1922 -1927. One of his sons George Allan died at Fever Hospital and my father had a tracheoptomy (don't know if that is the right spelling), where would young George be buried? Was there a grave yard for those who died at Fever Hospital.
Does anyone have any pictures of Fever Hospital?

A photograph even if it's old with really help identify which is which.

Hello Swally
Do you have a date of death for George? I had a quick look on Scotlands People and see that there is a 4 year old George Allan who died in 1926. He would most likely be buried in the main Peebles cemetery on Neidpath Road. Borders FHS are currently recording the inscriptions there and we have a recording session planned for Fri 21st / Sat 22nd Sept so could have a look for his memorial.
You could also contact Bereavment Services at Scottish Borders Council - they have the lair plans and if you can provide them with a date of death they would be able to find the grave.
As for a photograph of the hospital, try the Peebles museum. They have a great selection of photographs
