Wondering if Sorly is or was a place in Wigtownshire?
A McNelley ancestor was perhaps born there and we are wanting to find where it is.

Hi Stephen.

When I lived in Wigtownshire, a small village I used to visit was SORBIE, you can find it on Google maps - 6 Mile south of Wigtown and 5 mile north Whithorn. depending on how it was written and spelt it could have looked like Sorby
