Hi Sue, May Penman is actually my wife Margaret's grgrgr, grandmother.
We can't find any details of Isobel Pringle either!
However, we have the John Gibb line back to George Gibb's marriage to
Jean Leich, 20/3/1702, Stichill & Hume, Roxburghshire.
I'll contact you privately, many thanks, Strath.

Hi Strath, John Gibb and May Penman were my 4th ggrandparents coming down the line from their daughter May (born 1820). So far, I've only been able to find out that Isabella Pringle was born about 1790 and died December 22, 1832 in Hume, Berwickshire. Would be happy to help anyway I can though!
