Posted - 17 November 2010 : 00:02:57 it would appear that the old parish boundary for eddleston extend as far as tweeddaleburn/leadburn so that might explain your relatives info - tolls were generally at or near parish boundarys

Posted - 12 November 2010 : 01:05:37 Thanks Ann, but on my gt gt gt grandfathers death extract is definitely stated place of death as 1860 tweed Dale burn Toll Eddleston and buried in Eddleston church yard. I'm a bit confused ! |
