Seeking the death of Alexander Thom(p)son. The census records Alexander as being born in Jedburgh in 1811. He married Mary Wood of Eckford in 1845. Alexander and Mary were living in Jedburgh in 1881 and Mary was a widow in 1891 living in Oxnam. I have been unable to find Alexander's death on ScotlandsPeople and there is nothing suitable in England on FreeBMD.

It could mean Alexanader died in Hospital therefore his death would be register there - if so you would need to know which on and could be Edinburgh, Berwick a local cottage hospital, etc - not easy

Best to try the graveyards in Jedburgh and Oxnam areas

The Society are current producing Jedburgh's MI's, but the Oxnam area has been done.
