We hold a number of family trees, some of which are now in digital format, although most are still in hard copy.

The trees which we hold digitally are all GEDCOM files, and their references begin with the letter G.

Society members can receive copies of trees held digitally on request, by email.

For non-members in respect of all trees and for members in respect of trees held in hard copy it is necessary to lodge a research request for which a fee is payable, which for members is 5 for each half hour spent and for non-members, 7 per half hour spent. This will normally be sufficient to cover a simple request to view family trees.

Details of how to submit a research request are on http://www.bordersfhs.org.uk/BFHSResearchForm.asp.
