How can I pay for membership in US dollars or a currency other than British pounds sterling ?
You can't. The Scottish banks charge high fees for processing cheques drawn on non-UK banks, and on cheques in a different currency.
In order to cater for them, we would have to charge unrealistically high membership fees, so to keep fees low, we accept payment only in British pounds sterling.
