Wanting to know a little of the history of these two villages Wooden and Crailing between 1750-1780 when my early Black family was in the area.

Point of reference Crailing is a Village & Parish and Wooden in NOT a Village but a Large Farm.

Which Black are you looking for quite a few families in that area which is also near Nisbet, Ancrum and Jedburgh
