Examples of Gravestone (Tombstone) Inscriptions.

Scottish Borders Council has a list of burial grounds.

Search the Gravestones Index

Each volume contains the inscription on all the (readable) gravestones (tombstones) in the respective burial place at the time of publication, and there is an index to the surnames in the inscriptions at the back.
Most volumes include a Hearth Tax list, War Memorial inscriptions, a list of kirk ministers, and many have a militia list.

See a sample of the content for the Oxnam volume.

Postage Table
Use this table to calculate the postage to be paid on your order.
UK and Overseas postage rates were changed on 6th April 2009.
UK postage rates are complicated, as they depend on size of the package and its weight.
For UK orders, use Large Letter rates for 1 item, and Packet rates for 2 or more items.
If we find that we can post more cheaply in a different way, we'll do that, and refund the difference.
Calculate the total weight of your order, and read off the postage cost in the table below, for your locality, postage method, weight and the number of items.

Examples of Gravestone (Tombstone) Inscriptions
There's a lot of variability in the length of gravestone or tombstone inscriptions, and the information they contain. The examples here are both from the Ayton volume, a small one, and a large one. The small inscription is more typical of the general size, but there are many larger inscriptions, as well as a few stones that have no or illegible inscriptions.
