Our archive and search room is now open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 4pm. Keep up to date via our Facebook page and Twitter.
The Society holds a large number of family trees (pedigree charts) which have been submitted by members and others.
These are held either as GEDCOM computer files or as paper documents. The Family Tree index includes all these family trees, those held as GEDCOM being indicated by the prefix ‘G’.
We can make the GEDCOM files available to members on request.
Please our Contacts page selecting the contact type – Request for Family Trees and quote the reference numbers of the charts you want.
It would be appreciated if, when requesting GEDCOM files you could confirm your membership number if known.
The paper family trees are held in our Archive where they can be researched but cannot be taken away. However we can supply copies of these trees to members and can carry out a search of them for non members – use our Research Service and quote the reference numbers of the charts in which you are interested.
